St. Theresa Students utilize the Google's app product line known as G Suite for Education. It is built on the same platform that people and businesses enjoy everyday. Google for Education gives teachers the freedom to spend more time personalizing the learning experience, and less time managing it. Students can learn 21st-century problem-solving and the skills they’ll use in their future careers, with accessibility features that help every student do their best work.

PASSWORDS
St Theresa sets and maintains passwords for student accounts. We do not permit recovery, by law, due to age restrcitions. For lost/forgotten passwords, please email techadmin@sttherseaschool.com

STUDENT GMAIL
All STS students have a school-owned Gmail account. The email account's purpose is to communicate with classmates and teaching staff. It also is a way to grant acecss to the many apps and systems that we use at school.

The students are not permitted, by policy, to communicate with any domain outside of the school's site. Filter controls are in place that passivly monitor activity to help curb incidence of bullying or other issues that come up with personal communication.

GOOGLE CHAT
Students also have the access to a instant messaging platform "Google Chat" that allows the ablity to chat in real-time with classmates. All within our "garden" that is filtered.

G Suite and Classroom are free for schools, and shareable Chromebooks extend the benefits of technology easily and affordably to more students—with 24/7 support and multiple layers of security to keep students and data safe.
