STS Typing Practice

All STS rising 1st-6th graders have Google Accounts that will give them access to the STS Typing Program.

We have no formal assignment to this, but as is always the case, practice makes perfect.  Over the years, high schools have de-emphasized entry testing or typing requirements, though most students will tell you, being able to type is a critical skill given the constant use of computers.   As a general rule of thumb, leaving 8th grade with a 35 words per minute (WPM) or better is a good indicator you will function well in high school and beyond.
